Rupert joined Burgess in June 1992. Rupert started his yachting career in 1989 after leaving the Royal Navy at the rank of Lieutenant. Based entirely in the South of France throughout his yachting career, Rupert has been able to establish a very in-depth knowledge of the market, large yachts and a virtually unrivalled acquaintance with many of the industry’s senior personalities. Such attributes have greatly assisted the development and growth of the Monaco office and have successfully contributed to the sale and construction of many high profile large yachts. Rupert’s primary involvement today is brokerage and new construction. He speaks French, Dutch and Spanish.
