Mark is the Chief Operating Officer of Burgess, primarily responsible for finance, people, IT and offices. He joined Burgess in 2006, bringing 12 years’ experience in the travel industry as managing director of two niche tour operators, finance director of a privately-owned travel company, and various business development and technical roles within IBM. Mark has an MA in Natural Sciences from Cambridge University, having previously taught sailing and gained extensive cruising and keelboat racing experience. He is still a keen sailor and also enjoys skiing and DIY.
