Ben has experience as a mussel boat Captain where he managed the team at the Porthilly Shellfish farm in Cornwall. Just prior to this, he gained valuable insight working with the yacht expedition team at the travel agency Pelorus where he contributed to the creation of marketing concepts to promote more unusual and off-the-beaten-track destinations.

He acquired his Yachtmaster Offshore qualification in 2019 and enjoyed a short spell of time working on M/Y ODYSSEY where he was able to make use of his skills as a watersports instructor.
